The Tree Board was created to protect and preserve the trees within the City's public spaces and to oversee the protection, preservation, and planting of trees in new construction as set forth in the Code of Ordinances. The Board now has a new role of educational outreach and planning Arbor Day observances. The Board meets every fourth Thursday of every other month at 6:00 p.m. in the City Community Room, 138 E. Hightower Trail, behind the Police Department.
