The City Clerk handles Open Records Requests (PDF form format) and questions about our Code of Ordinances and Property Taxes.
For newer ordinances that have been adopted since the last ordinance codification, go to the Code of Ordinances subpage, Adopted Since Last Ordinance Codification.
Residents can pay for or search for their taxes online. To look up your taxes, simply fill out only one of the fields - such as just the house number or just the parcel number or just the last name of the property owner. Then click on "Search" to find out what taxes are owed.

The City Clerk's Office is responsible for multiple functions all conveniently located in City Hall at 166 N. Cherokee Road.
The City Clerk serves the Mayor and City Council, staff, and general public through compliance with Open Meetings and Open Records laws and providing transparency of government through easy public access to agendas and minutes, code of ordinances, resolutions, and official City records. In addition, the Clerk oversees Municipal Elections and Municipal Court, manages City records, and ensures proper billing and collection of property taxes.
