The Planning/Corridor Commission was established to facilitate a coordinated and harmonious development of the City. The Planning/Corridor Commission is established to protect and enhance the Highway 11 and the North Cherokee Road and South Cherokee Road Corridors as these corridors have a direct impact on places, with special historical, cultural, or aesthetic interest or values. The Planning/Corridor Commission meets every fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at the City Community Room.
