    Earth Day

There are plenty of simple and small ways that you can help the environment. Here are just a few:

•Save Energy - turn off your lights when you aren't using them.
•Pick up litter that is on the ground or in a park.
•Use less water by taking shorter showers, turning off the water while brushing your teeth, and not leaving the water running when you wash dishes.
•Plant more trees (Yes, you can plant more than one! Just make sure to plant them in holes that are big enough for their roots.)
•Walk or ride your bike instead of getting your parents to drive you places. Encourage your family to do the same! Every time you leave the car at home, you burn fewer fossil fuels, produce less carbon dioxide, and get fitter and healthier too!
•Turn off your electronics when they aren't being used.

When we all work together, we can make a big difference in how Earth looks and keep it safe for our future.
