Social Circle Love Where You Live!

The City of Social Circle was accepted into the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing in 2019.  This is a state program, provided by a partnership of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, the University of Georgia, and the Georgia Municipal Association to assist communities in developing a strategic plan to address housing issues. It is a three year program into which five or six cities are accepted each year.  There is no cost to the program, although the City of Social Circle does assist with the travel expenses of stakeholders participating in semiannual retreats.

The Stakeholders group meets monthly at 10:00 am in the School Administration building.  Interested citizens are invited to participate.
