An expansion to the Stanton Library in Social Circle is in the planning stages.  We are interested in your opinions and suggestions on how the Library can better meet the needs of the community.  Two design workshops are being held which are open to the public.  Just stop in anytime during the workshop to view the concepts and add your input.  There is no presentation planned and children are welcome.

Thursday August 17th , 2017 from 2 pm to 7 pm at the Stanton Library in Social Circle, 704 W. Hightower Road

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2017 from 2 pm to 7 pm at the Social Circle Community Room, 138 E. Hightower Road

The results of these workshops will be used to finalize the Library expansion concept plans and cost estimates.  State funding will be sought this year to augment the funds which are already allocated from the Uncle Remus Library system and the Social Circle 2012-2018 Special Purpose local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST).  Help us complete these plans and bring this project to construction.
