Want to learn more about the City? '
This is an interactive program that focuses on educating citizens about the City’s governmental operations. Elected officials and City staff will host unique and informative sessions designed to give a hands on inside look into City operations. You will learn about the City Advisory Committees and Commissions and get an inside look of the City Budget development process.
The class will meet the first Tuesday each month from November through May from 6 to 8 pm in the Community Room.
If you are interested in this program please complete the application. The program will be limited to 20 participants, and is anticipated to be offered annually.

OneStreet Residential is proposing a Traditional Neighborhood Designed Cottage community targeted at the increasingly growing discretionary renter demographic. The Parcel ID is SC080020 consisting of 32.57 acres on both sides of Memorial Drive between Alcova Drive and S Forest Avenue.
The Community meeting will be February 11, 2019 at 6:00 pm in the Community Room at 138 E. Hightower Trail.

The City established the Historic Preservation Commission to provide a uniform procedure for use in providing for the protection, enhancement, perpetuation and use of places, district, sites, buildings, structures, objects, and landscape features having a special historical, cultural or aesthetic interest or value.

The Planning commission is established to facilitate a coordinated and harmonious development of the City. The Corridor Commission is established to protect and enhance the Highway 11 and the North Cherokee Road and South Cherokee Road Corridors as these corridors have a direct impact on places, with special historical, cultural, or aesthetic interest or values.
